Crowns/onlay/inlay
If a tooth has been weakened by a large filling or root canal treatment, a crown/onlay/inlay can be a good solution. A crown/onlay/inlay is a kind of lid or cap that is made in the dental laboratory. It has a beautiful color and shape, which improves the distribution of forces and makes it easier to clean. In this way, the color, position and shape of the tooth can change. This also reduces the risk of tooth breakage due to the shape and wear-resistant material.
Veneers
A facing can be made from different types of materials. A layer of tissue is removed from the front of the tooth and replaced with a layer of porcelain or white filling material. The advantage of veneers is that it is not invasive and gives a beautiful result. This also allows you to adjust the shape and color and you can achieve small position corrections.
White fillings
Sometimes old fillings can discolour and this causes a less beautiful smile. The quality of the new filling materials that we use in practice can embellish this again. Sometimes we use multiple colors to build up a tooth. If you look closely at teeth and molars, you will also see that there are several colors and translucencies.
Bleach
Home whitening is an easy way to make the teeth a few shades lighter in color. We manufacture two custom-made whitening trays for you, which you have to wear with a whitening gel in your mouth. How long you need to bleach depends on the result you want to achieve and how easy it is for you. During the whitening sessions you will be checked and advised by the dentist. You can reuse the spoons, which is useful if you want to whiten your teeth again. We always have whitening gel in stock. This is always done in consultation with the dentist.
